Alice E. Elliott, 96, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1918 in Lexington, Indiana, the daughter of the late Albert and Nellie (Lee) Moore. Alice was a retired cook at Vienna Elementary School in Vienna, Indiana and was also a cook and dietician at Scott Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church, enjoyed playing bingo on Tuesday night and was an avid Euchre player. She was preceded in death her husband, Lou Ervin Elliott; a son, Junior Robbins and five brothers, John, Elmer, Albert “Hap”, Jerald and Charles R. Moore and a grandson, Herbert Lord. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Lou Lord and her husband Jack of New Palestine, Indiana; six grandchildren, Jack Lee, Michael and David Lord, Tony and Eldin Ray Robbins and Alice Noble, 14 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and expecting a ninth great great grandson in March.
