Alice Mae Hall, 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at her residence.  She was born on November 21, 1936 in Clark County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles Herman and Iva (Montgomery) Abbott.  Alice was a former nurses aide for the old Scott Villa Living Center in Scottsburg, Indiana, she loved to read, watch Westerns and spend time with her family.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Abbott and two sisters, Lillian Ater and Francis “Frankie” Gray.  Survivors include her husband, Grant Hall; four sons, Steven, David, Dennis and Kevin Hall all of Scottsburg, Indiana;  five sisters, Sandy Coulter of Sellersburg, Indiana, Mary Cable of Pennsylvania, Wanita “Skeet” Aubrey of Ohio, Roberta Vanmeter and Ruth Sullivan both of Henryville, Indiana; a brother, Jim Abbott of Lexington, Indiana; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
