Andre Malcus Cozart, 15, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 27, 2004 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of Andrew W. Cozart and Kelly (Couch) Moyer. Andre was a Sophomore at Scottsburg High School and a member of the First Christian Church. He participated in the Recycling Club and was also on the Scott County Special Olympics Bowling Team. Andre always had a radiant smile on his face and never met a stranger. His favorite day of the week was Thursday, garbage day- he LOVED sitting outside and waving to the City of Scottsburg garbage men. His loss will leave a hole in our town, our family, and our hearts. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Kelly and Brett Moyer of Scottsburg, Indiana; his father, Andrew W. Cozart of Crothersville, Indiana; his sisters, include his twin, Abigail Cozart and also Margaret Cozart both of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Emmitt Cozart of Jennings, Louisiana and Maverick Moyer of Scottsburg, Indiana; his grandparents, Gary and Kathy Couch of Scottsburg, Indiana and Wayne and Nina Cozart of Crothersville, Indiana; his great grandparents, Walter and Margaret Rumple of Scottsburg, Indiana and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
