Andrew “Andy” Broady, 83, of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Hickory Creek of Scottsburg. He was born on January 5, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Zeb and Emma (Miller) Broady. Andy was a farmer and cattleman, a member of the Fairview Christian Church and graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1950. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion and Floyd Broady; a sister, Katie Collins and a son-in-law, Frank Brown. Survivors include four daughters, Vickie Brown, Gloria Brown (Kenny) and Mary Petty (Kevin) all of Underwood, Indiana and Sharon Grote (Mark) of Georgetown, Indiana; a son, David “Marty” Broady
of Underwood, Indiana; five grandchildren, Eric Brown (Ruth), Teacia Hill and Kelly Combs, Whitney Hall and Kelsey Petty and seven great grandchildren, Katelynn and Owen Brown and Bentley Pulliam and Jaylen Hill, Courtney, D.J. and Logan Barger.
