Ann L. Swigert McArthur, 73, of Sellersburg, Indiana, formerly of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born on August 30, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl Swigert Sr. and Hazel (Simpkins) Whited. Ann was a former activities director for Wedgewood Nursing Home in Clarksville, Indiana and an avid reader. She was married on Jan. 23, 1959 to Warren W. McArthur, who preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2009. In addition to her husband, Ann was preceded in death by son, Michael McArthur. Survivors include a daughter, Christine Daniels of Sellersburg, Indiana; two sons, Douglas (Shannon) McArthur of Corydon, Indiana and Jeffery (Kim) McArthur of Delhi, Ohio; three brothers, Earl Swigert, Jr. of Camby, Oregon, James Swigert and Tony Whited both of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Flora Bihn, Cindy Brunty and Cathy Swigert all of Cincinnati, Ohio and Mildred Simpkins of Scottsburg, Indiana; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
