Anna Carol Eberhardt of Pekin, Indiana, 68, died on September 11, 2014.  Her body and mind are now free from the pain of cancer.  She suffers no more.  She ascended from this world with friends and family by her side.  Anna was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Belle and Conn Phillips; her sister, Yvonne Bays; and her loving husband, Edward.  Left behind are her dear sons, John and Charles Eberhardt; her nieces, Pam, Debbie, Denise, Donna, Sandra and Theresa and her nephews, Jimmy and Marty.  She will be deeply missed by her best friend, Flo, as well as other friends and family who include Anne, Roy, Brian, JoAnn, Hazel, Steff, Whitney, Laura, Natasha, Joey and her dog, Pupper.  Earlier in life, Anna enjoyed to crochet.  She spent countless hours in the woods hunting for mushrooms and ginseng.   Anna rode horses, gardened, and helped take care of the family farm.  She loved playing cards and could often be found playing guitar and singing with Eddie and other friends and family.  Later in life she found great enjoyment at the slot machines.  Anna was a member of Al-Anon in Henryville and many bowling leagues.  She square danced with The Country Denim Dancers and also attended New Liberty Baptist Church for several years.  Anna was an angel to many on earth….may she now be one in Heaven.  Rest in Peace.  Online condolences: www.collinsfuneralhome.net.
