Asher Barger, 66, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born in Clay County, Kentucky, the son of the late Dewey and Bertie Barger. Asher was a retired construction worker. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Troy and Cecil Barger. Survivors include three brothers, Taylor, Dudley and Finley Barger all of Austin, Indiana; four sisters, Bonnie Roy and Audrey Bush both of Austin, Indiana, Jean Franklin and Wanda Albertson both of Scottsburg, Indiana; his companion, Lenora Ann Barger of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Sally Stepp of Scottsburg, Indiana and a step granddaughter.
