Brenda G. King, 73, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Sellersburg Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 26, 1946 in Logan County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Cecil Evy Cornelius and Nevada (Elrod) Cornelius. Brenda was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Scottsburg, Indiana. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Kenneth George “Kenny” King on April 21, 2019; two brothers, Howard and Nolan Cornelius and two sisters, Nevada Marie and Maryann Cornelius. Survivors include two daughters, Dianna L. Gaddis and husband Greg and Debbie L. Sandlin and husband Brady all of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Lemuel Cornelius and wife Vera of Tell City, Indiana; five grandchildren, Sierra Robertson, Ashton Robertson, Autumn Sandlin, Cody Gaddis, and Shelby Sandlin and three great grandchildren, Taylyn, Jase and Raylee Salyers.
