Carol Jane Bowman, 52 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born November 16, 1961 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Richard and Mattie (Hurt) Haney. Carol was married Nov. 16, 1977 to Steven G. Bowman, who survives. She was a homemaker. Survivors in addition to her husband include, two brothers, James Haney of Charlestown, Indiana and Robert Haney of Kissimmee, Florida and numerous half brothers, half sisters and nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Smith. Memorial Service will be held Saturday at Little York Christian Church with Jeremy Stevens officiating. No Visitation: Cremation was chosen.
