Carolyn Lee Napier, 73, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on February 26, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jessie I. and Virginia Louise (Parker) Goodman. Carolyn graduated from Lexington High School in 1963 and also attended Purdue University. She was retired from the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Carolyn had also worked for the Clark Gas Station and the Dolly Madison Bread Store In Scottsburg, Indiana, as well as, delivering the Giveaway. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Scottsburg, Indiana. Carolyn was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Matty White and two sisters, Virgie Montina Vanmeter and Joanelita Mull. Survivors include her daughter, Shelley White of Scottsburg, Indiana; four grandchildren, James P., Kyle V., Zach R. and Vanessa R. White and seven great grandchildren.
