Charles “Charlie” Barnes, 67, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 4, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Faye (Pruitt) Peterson. Charlie was a former employee of Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana and also worked for several area farmers. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Riley of Lexington, Indiana and Dianne Turner (Willard, Sr.) of Salem, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
