Charles R. “Bob” Hill, 62, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on May 10, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Kenneth A. Hill, Sr. and Minnie (Turner) Hill. Bob was an employee of W.R. Cole & Associates in Louisville, Kentucky, where he worked since 1980. He graduated from Henryville High School in 1973, was baptized in the Presbyterian Church and attended the Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church near Scottsburg, Indiana with his wife, Melissa. Bob was also a life member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association, a member of the Moose Family Center 2324, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and IU Basketball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth A. Hill Jr.; a sister, Glenda Elftman and numerous half brothers. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Melissa A. (Mummert) Hill; two half brothers, Pete Fields (Rosie) of Corbin, Kentucky and Clifford Hill; a half sister, Oma Bennett (Jim) of Cumberland, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews.
