Christopher Palmer, 29, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on January 24, 1988 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of Rodger D. Palmer and Debra S. (Estep) Palmer. Chris graduated from Lincoln Technical School in Indianapolis, Indiana and was a former Diesel Mechanic for Best Way in Seymour, Indiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and driving his race cars on dirt tracks. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Emma Palmer and a brother-in-law, Michael “Bub” Haney. Survivors include his wife, Brittney R. (Haney) Palmer; three daughters, Madyson Palmer, Brylee Haney and Alexis Palmer all of Scottsburg, Indiana; his parents, Rodger and Debra Palmer of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Joshua Palmer of Scottsburg, Indiana; two foster brothers, William Kronz of Clarksville, Indiana and Justin Santiago of Lafayette, Indiana; his grandparents, William and Elaine Estep of Austin, Indiana and a niece, Avereigh Palmer. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor David Carroll officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Friday at Collins Funeral Home. Cremation is requested following his funeral services.
