Connie Sue Stamper, 67 of Austin, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born January 11, 1947 in Morrisonville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Robert and Radia (Davis) King. She was a retired employee of the old Scott County Healthcare in Scottsburg, Indiana. Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Cooper and a brother, Robert ” Bobby” King. Survivors include: four daughters, Tina Cochran of Scottsburg, Indiana, Tammy Cole & Tiffany Pinto both of Austin, Indiana and Lisa Spalding of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; a son, John “Toby” Stamper of Lexington, Indiana; five sisters, Mary Brandenburg of Scottsburg, Indiana, Barbara Jones of Little York, Indiana, Glenda Brickley & Rhonda Smith both of Austin, Indiana and Gladys Carey of Lexington, Indiana; seven brothers, Dallas King of Crothersville, Indiana, Leo King of Nevada, Missouri, Glen King & Johnny King both of Scottsburg, Indiana, Charles King of Melbourne, Florida, Joe King of Detroit, Michigan and Jessie King of Bloomington, Indiana; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
