Danny J. “Mouse” Cross, 62, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on December 1, 1951 in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Flemon R. and Anna M. (Gilham) Cross. Danny was retired from CSX Transportation after 40 years retiring in November 2011. CSX was formerly known as Chessie Railroad and B & O Railroad while Danny worked there. He loved to fish and hunt with his son and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, David Wayne and Ronald E. Cross. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Sue (Weaver) Cross; a son, Jason Cross (Jennifer) of Lexington, Indiana; two daughters, Amy Booth and Kathy Cross both of Indianapolis, Indiana; mother, Anna M Cross of Seymour, Indiana; four brothers, Melvin R. Cross (Marlene) of Seymour, Indiana, Robert L. Cross of Brownstown, Indiana, James E. Cross of Seymour, Indiana and Roger D. Cross of Blocher, Indiana; four sisters, Marilyn A. Nowling of Seymour, Indiana, Brenda K. Cross of Blocher, Indiana, Donna M. Clark (John) of Versailles, Indiana and Charlene Brothers of Clarksville, Indiana; half sister, Carol Martin of Seymour, Indiana; six grandchildren, Kailea and Taylor Booth, Hannah Collins, Kelsie Hicks, Trenton and Jaylyn Cross and a great granddaughter, Reagan Booth.
