I will miss Delmar SO much. I used to be able to call Delmar or he would call me about weekly. It will be tough not being able to share our lives with one another. I love my remaining family members in S. Indiana and will be praying for healing. Dwight

I told Delmar once that he was truly my brother, not my brother-in-law. I love him and will cherish the many memories of him.

I am going to miss Uncle Delmar. He told me how I used to think he was Santa so the year before law the called me and left a message on Christmas, saying "Ho,Ho,Ho" I can hear his voice saying it over and over in my head and of course his "Howdy" Ivan sure he is with mom in Heaven where they have no more pain or sadness.

Del will be missed terribly by our family. He was there through our losses and there are no words to express our much appreciated friendship to this man. I remember how he sat in our driveway until we got up the next morning after we lost my mom and the ongoing sympathy he had for us when we lost my brother. There are just no words to explain the love this man showed our family. I think what I will miss most was knowing that I could always reach him on Facebook and even if we got busy that he was always keeping up with me. Just two days before he got his angel wings he reached out with his "Good morning Sunshine" at 5 a.m. That is a "good morning" message that I will miss for the rest of my days. I'm so glad that I was able to speak to him the next day too and share a picture of our newest family member, my brother's first grandchild. I know that in my heart he is up there celebrating with my mom and brother right now with his arms around them. I know personally that losing someone unexpectedly is one of the hardest things a family can go through and I just want the Nicholson family to know that we are here for you just like Del was there for us when we needed it. Please know from the depths of our hearts that we are praying for your strength and healing and he will truly be missed by all of the Pedigo family, especially by my father Roger and myself.

I love and miss you, Uncle Delmar. I have so many wonderful memories of you, especially you coming out to the farm where I enjoyed “porch time” with you and watching you photograph beautiful nature photos.
