Denise A. Bane, 57, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born on June 29, 1959 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lynn Lord Sr. and Bessie E. (Wilkerson) Miller. Denise graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1977 and was a member of the Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church near Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a former employee of the Scott County Health Department and Houston & Thompson Law Office. Denise also had worked as a realtor for Jack Bridgewater and Schuler Bauer Real Estate Companies. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lynn Lord, Jr. and a sister, Donna Reece. Survivors include two sons, Zachary L. Bane of Scottsburg, Indiana and Dylan M. Bane of Topeka, Kansas; father of her sons, Tony Bane of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, Jim Lichlyter of Madison, Indiana; three sisters, Jo Tiemeyer of Seymour, Indiana, Tina Robbins of Cortland, Indiana, and Sue Smith of Zionsville, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
