Donah Laverne Gibson, 60, of Austin, Indiana passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 24, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charlie Aubon Swartz and Syble Montll (Butler) Hardin. Donah was married Jan 31, 1998 to Faron L. Gibson, who survives. She was a retired operator for Austin Tri Hawk in Austin, Indiana and also retired laborer from Genesis Plastics in Scottsburg, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Butch Swartz. Survivors include her husband, Faron L. Gibson; two daughters, Tamara Nanette Parker of Elizabeth, Indiana & Charlotte Killey of Scottsburg, Indiana; three sons, Steve Stroud of Georgetown, Indiana, Gary Jones of New Albany, Indiana, Charles Jones of Austin, Indiana & Faron Gibson, Jr. of North Vernon, Indiana; three sisters, Alice Lowrey of Elizabeth, Indiana, Rose Craig of Columbus, Indiana & Audrey Bernice Edwards of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Bill Swartz of New Albany, Indiana and 15 grandchildren. Memorial Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation: 10 am to 11 am Thursday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Providence Cemetery near Austin, Indiana.
