Doris J. Williams, 83, of Lafayette, Indiana, died on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Salem Crossing Health & Hospital in Salem, Indiana. She was born on October 23, 1932 in Greenwood, Indiana, the daughter of the late Russell Hamlyn and Ella Marie (Eastham) Hamlyn. Doris was a homemaker and graduated from Morgantown High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Williams. Survivors include two sons, James Williams of Lafayette, Indiana and Mike Williams of Texas; a brother, Ralph Hamlyn of Scottsburg, Indiana and several grandchildren.
