Dula Mae “Bea” Cable, 75, of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Hickory Creek of Scottsburg. She was born on June 18, 1943 in Vermillion Parish, Louisiana, the daughter of the late William Abshire and Enola (Trahan) Abshier. Bea was married on June 14, 1997 to Danny Cable who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Underwood Baptist Church. Bea enjoyed country drives, listening to music, spending time with family, drinking coffee and having biscuits sitting on the back porch. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnnie Locke, Sr.; a son, Bart E. Locke; three brothers, Hubert, Purvis and Doris Abshier and four sisters, Mildred, Adia, Ethel and Helen. In addition to her husband Danny, Bea is survived by a daughter, Catrinia Jones and her husband Keith of Scottsburg, Indiana; three sons, Scott Locke and his wife Sheri of Baltimore, Maryland; Johnnie A. Locke, Jr. of Underwood, Indiana and Chriss Locke and his wife Leann of Scottsburg, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Bart, Nathan, Shyla, Kelcey, Zachary, Seth, Sarah and Spencer and four great grandchildren, Stevie, Calleigh, Myles and Rory.
