Esther Edith Nolan, 82, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 17, 1935 in Jennings County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Hess and Caroline (Mauze) Hess. Esther was a retired employee of the old Panasote Company in Seymour, Indiana, where she worked for 20 years and also had worked for Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana. She liked going to yard sales and in her younger years enjoyed bicycling. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hoover Nolan and six siblings, Aaron, Wilmer, Alvin, Norma, Helen and Wanda. Survivors include a daughter: Esther Hedrick of Hope, Indiana; a son, Troy Nolan and wife Mary of Crothersville, Indiana; two grandchildren, Libby Milch (Fred) and Mary Hedrick (Eric Scott) and two great grandchildren, Ossie and Stella Milch.
