Frank James Dean, 64 of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Scottsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Frank Riley Dean and Lucy Sophia (Lewandowski) Dean.  Frank was a retired house orderly for 36 years at St. Mary & Elizabeth’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Dean and a brother, John Dean.  Survivors include his wife, Catherine (Brown) Dean; two brothers, David Dean of Clarksville, Indiana and Paul Dean of Scottsburg, Indiana; four nephews, Corey, Jeremy, Nick and Jason Dean and numerouse other nieces and nephews.
