Franklin L. Hazelwood, 63 of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on April 8, 1950 in Scott County, Indiana, the son of the late Ellis Samuel and Carlie (McConahay) Hazelwood. Frank worked as a laborer on the family farm and was a Methodist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Gail Gilbert and Tammy Hazelwood. Survivors include a brother, Stanley Hazelwood of Scottsburg, Indiana; five sisters, Nancy White and Eva Johnson both of Scottsburg, Indiana, Ruth Ann Combs and Ella Sturdevant both of Austin,Indiana and Martha Alvey of Seymour, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
