Fred Emery Brodt, 67, of Moreno Valley, California, formerly of Scottsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, California.  He was born in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of Fred O. Brodt and Marjorie A. (Buzzard) Brodt, who survives. Fred was a former maintenance man for the old Exide Corporation in Richmond, Kentucky and also a former employee of the old Scottsburg Plastics in Scottsburg, Indiana.  He was a member of the Scottsburg United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Brodt and father, Fred O. Brodt.   Survivors include his mother, Marjorie A. Brodt of Indianapolis, Indiana; three brothers, Philip L.
