Hobert Eugene Walters, 90, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on December 2, 1926 in Kitts, Kentucky, the son of the late Tess Walters and Mossie (Wright) Walters. Eugene was a retired auto worker for General Motors in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a member of the Broadway Pentecostal Church in Austin, Indiana, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Wallins Creek Masonic Lodge in Wallins Creek, Kentucky. Eugene was preceded in death by a son, Daymond Walters and a sister, Willene Lamar. Survivors include his wife, Anna Lee (Burns) Walters; a daughter, Sharon Sosbe of Indianapolis, Indiana; a stepson, Paul Brown and his wife Edna of Austin, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Debbie Clontz and her husband Charles of Austin, Indiana, nine grandchildren, Aaron Clontz, Andy, Chris and Kaitey Brown, Jenny Vaughn, Angie Larkin, Deanna Miller, Stephanie Schutt and Shawn Barger and several great grandchildren.
