Jamie Russell, 44, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 18, 1974 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of James Richard Snelling and Dora L. (Reynolds) Snelling. Jamie was a former employee of the Meijer Store in Jeffersonville, Indiana and had also worked as a waitress at the old Mariann and Schuler’s Restaurants. She attended the Scottsburg Church of God and loved animals, especially her dog Autumn. Jamie was preceded in death by her father, James Snelling on January 10, 2014. Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bobby” Russell; her mother, Dora L. Snelling of Scottsburg, Indiana; six brothers, Jimmy Snelling (Loretta) of Austin, Indiana, James Snelling of Scottsburg, Indiana, Richard Snelling (Michelle) of Lanesville, Indiana, Mark Snelling of New Albany, Indiana, Travis Albertson (Erica) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Bobby Glenn Reynolds (Tammy) of Lexington, Indiana. four sisters, Sherry L. Kirk (Butch) of Austin, Indiana, Libby Donahaa (David) and Evelyn Wiggins all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Billie Jo Matlock of Jeffersonville, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews including Tabatha, Tommy (Casey), Alisha and Lilly.
