Janice Sue “Jan” Cloud, 81, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on June 15, 1935 in Harlan, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jim and Georgia (Moses) Massingill. Jan was a homemaker, a member of the Church Of God in Scottsburg, Indiana and enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Massingill and a sister, Joyce Taylor. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Whorley V. “Van” Cloud; three sons, Vandy K. Cloud and his wife Kathy and Vance K. Cloud and his wife Loretta all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Van W. Cloud and his wife Jennifer of Lexington, Indiana; two daughters, Vanda K. Jones and her husband Henry of Lexington, Indiana and Vanessa Vires of Indianapolis, Indiana; three sisters, Barbara Wright and her husband Norm of Crossville, Tennessee, Karen Hines and her husband Bill of Franklin, Ohio and Brenda Massingill of Oklahoma; a brother, Jerry Massingill and his wife Barbara of Dayton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Moria Marshall, Patricia, Lauren and Courtney Vires, Kaitlyn Blake, Carina Sturgill and Jeremy Jones and eight great grandchildren.
