Janice Sue Kennedy, 59, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus.  She was born in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of Harold  Howell and Wanda Sue (Weddell) Howell. Janice was a former employee of A.V.I Vending at Austin Tri-hawk Automotive in Austin, Indiana and a former employee of the American Legion Post # 234 in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a member of the old Austin Church of God, a proud member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed working puzzles, drawing and crafts. Janice was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Sue Howell. Survivors include four daughters, Cathy Collinsworth-Campbell of Indianapolis, Indiana, Juli Guthrie-Sherrill of Henryville, Indiana, Jessica Guthrie of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Jessica Dawn Collinsworth-Soloe (Bobby) of Brundidge, Alabama; her father, Harold Howell of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Wilbur Howell of Scottsburg, Indiana; four sisters, Judy Howell and Debbie Blythe both of Scottsburg, Indiana, Donna Barger of Austin, Indiana and Kimberly Howell-Maggard of Hazard, Kentucky and eight grandchildren, Trista, Kylie, Kayla, Zachary, Austin, Jani, Luke and Jace.
