John W. Pace, 66, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Sellersburg, Indiana. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of Virgil Pace and Mary Nell (Elliott) Walker. John was retired technician for the old American Can Company in Austin, Indiana and served during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Crothersville High School in 1967, enjoyed genealogy and watching his sons play music and baseball. John was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Virgil and Louise Pace; his mother, Nell Walker; brother-in-law, Jeff Arrowood; sister-in-law, Rebecca Campbell-Arrowood and his father-in-law, Ed Arrowood. Survivors include his wife, Debra (Arrowood) Pace; two sons, Virgil D. Pace of Austin, Indiana and John J. Pace of Charlestown, Indiana; three sisters, Sue Robinett of Seymour, Indiana, Nancy Acton of Underwood, Indiana and Melissa Royalty of Crothersville, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
