Julia M. Roberts, 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on March 13, 1939 in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles David Sanders and Roxie Marie (Weaver) Sanders. Julia was a retired registered nurse for St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, a Catholic and a member of the Scott County VFW Post # 6582 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Roberts; four daughters, Angelina, Nicole and Maria Roberts and Robin Flood; three brothers, Seth, Wilbur and Charles Sanders; three sisters, Connie Sanders, Shelia Sanders and Eva Frye. Survivors include a son, Brian Scott Roberts and wife Annabelle of South Bend, Indiana; a daughter, Lisa Rene Jones and husband Ryan of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Alan Delain Sanders of Kokomo, Indiana; a sister, Linda Lou Mossholder of Kokomo, Indiana; three grandchildren, Michael and Amber Cullins and Robin Roberts and one great granddaughter, Madison Rene Cullins. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
