Karl Lewis, 64, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Earl and Evelyn Ivy (Dickerson) Lewis. Karl was a truck driver for W-Transfer in Jeffersonville, Indiana and also formally worked for the old Bowater Company in Scottsburg, Indiana and Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran
of the Vietnam War. Survivors include a son, Brian Lewis of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Tip Lewis of Maine and Darryl Lewis of Elizabeth, Indiana; a sister, Earlene Witten of Greenville, Indiana and a granddaughter, Macey Lewis.
