Kathryn Ellen McNeely, 79 of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 8, 1935 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary E. (Branaman) Bruggenschmidt. Kathryn was a homemaker, a member of the Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church, past member of the Plymouth Homemakers Club, a 4-H Leader for years and a graduate of Scottsburg High School Class of 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sue Wosnick. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Marvin McNeely; three daughters, Karla Coomes (Jerry) and Peggy Tuttle (Art) all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Amy Gray (John) of Greenwood, Indiana; a son, Mark McNeely (Tisha) of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Linza “Burgie” Bruggenschmidt of Scottsburg, Indiana; a niece, Sabeena Shelton (David) of New Albany, Indiana, seven grandchildren, Jerrica Coomes Hall (Steve), Jeremy Coomes (Jessica), Ashley Gillespie Weddington (Brandon), Hunter and Marly McNeely, Jacob and Ethan Gray and six great grandchildren, Katie, Sam, Karlee, Max, Owen and Presley.
