What a beautiful picture of Laverne! She graduated with my sister Dixie Lord and they were good friends. I know she made many in Scott County beautiful with her stylist skills. She always had that beautiful smile and loved her family deeply. Praying for peace for those she left behind.

Jim and I are deeply saddened upon learning of LaVerne’s (Hope's) passing. We loved this sweet and beautiful person who had a heart of gold. We considered her a very close and dear friend. Of our many fond memories, we often think about when it was difficult for any of our family to go to her J.C. Penney salon in Clarksville, LaVerne happily came to our home to give us personal attention. We miss her dearly. We know the wonderful memories of LaVerne will bring comfort to her family.
