Lillian Shouse-Routh, 81, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 1, 1932 in Butterfly, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charlie and Opsie (Baker) Baker. Lillian was married to Rev. Elza Shouse, who died on Nov. 16, 1990 and was also married to Eugene Routh, who died on January 27, 2007. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana and also worked for Scott County Visiting Nurses and was a member of the Chelsea Church of God in Chelsea, Indiana. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth “Bud” Baker and a son-in-law, Chris Brunning. Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Crowley and her husband Louis of Scottsburg, Indiana, Donna Swaim and her husband Kenny, Linda Brunning and Deva Shouse all of Terre Haute, Indiana; a sister, Opal Rice-Phillips of Scottsburg, Indiana; Six grandchildren, Christy Hall, Jennifer Norred, Christopher Swaim, Joshua Smith, MIchael & Bradley Crowley and eight great grandchildren, Duncan, Malaki, Samuel, Jacqueline, Skyla, Michael, Ian & Piper Lillian.
