Lois C. Enteman, 76, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1941 in Hibernia, Indiana, the daughter of the late George Washington Vest and Eva Lena (Eldridge) Vest. Lois was a retired office manager for the Scott County Area Planning Commission in Scottsburg, Indiana and a member of the Solid Rock Community Church near Austin, Indiana, where she was active in the Ladies Group. Lois enjoyed playing cards and especially loved sending cards to her family and friends on special occasions. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ruben C., Darrell, Wilbur and McKinley Vest and three sisters, Rachel Sandlin, Gladys Popp and Elizabeth Bowyer. Survivors include her husband, Gerald E. Enteman, Sr.; two sons, Harold McKinley Cochran, Jr. and Billy Wayne Cochran both of Scottsburg, Indiana; four daughters, Debby K. Willoughby (Randy) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Robin J. Costin (Joe) of Pekin, Indiana, Renee F. White of Austin, Indiana and Laurie Beth Gay of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepson, Gerald E. “Eddie” Enteman, Jr. (Shea) of Bristol, Tennessee; a stepdaughter, Judy Kosinki (Joe) of Chesterfield, Virginia; 21 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday at Collins Funeral Home.

Lois Enteman was not only the best Mother in law but a great friend as well. She always had a kind word, showed love and support and loved her family unconditionally. She will be missed and never forgotten. Gerald, Debbie and family, prayers during this difficult time and may God bring you comfort in knowing Lois has gone to be will the Lord waiting to reunited with each of us one day. Love to all.
