Lois E. Vaughn, 87, of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation in Sellersburg, Indiana.  She was born in Little York, Indiana, the daughter of the late Delbert Johnson and Edna (Hogan) Johnson.  Lois was the owner of the old Lois’ Beauty Shoppe in Underwood, Indiana.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Clyde Vaughn; a daughter, Sharon J. Howell; three sisters, Shirley Stark, Lucille Stout and Helen Grant and a brother, Danny Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Sheila K. Campbell of Sarasota, Florida and Sonja S. (Stephen) Bernhart of Jeffersonville, Indiana; a son-in-law, Guy Howell of Sellersburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Chrystal, Kelly, Jason, Emily and Grace; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
