Margaret Grace Strouse, 91, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Madison, Indiana. She was born on April 22, 1926 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Cass L. and Rosa Jane (Williams) Lamaster. She was married on April 26, 1946 to Alvin Bruce Strouse, who passed away August 14, 2013. Margaret Grace was a retired secretary the old Farmers’ Production Credit Association in Scottsburg, Indiana and also worked part time in the Scott County Treasurer’s Office. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and lived all of her life in Scott County, Indiana. Margaret Grace was Past President of the Scottsburg High School Alumni Association, the Leota Homemakers Club, Past President and member of the Scott Memorial Hospital Guild for many years. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Danny Strouse, three brothers; Dale, Glenn and Lewis and four sisters; Norma, Charlotte, Sula and Lucille. Survivors include a son, Greg Strouse and wife Sandy of Livonia, Michigan; a daughter in law, Carolyn Dee Strouse of Madison, Indiana; six grandchildren; Cary (Julie), Curt (Laura), Chris (Carsha) and Cameron (Crystal) Strouse, Colby (Tike) Anderson and Kassie (Bret) Sheffer and twelve great grandchildren; Alex and Ian Strouse, Andrew and Anna Strouse, Taylor and Trace Strouse, Grace, Ella, Graham and Miles Sheffer and Adlen and Zennon Anderson.
