Marvin D. Gabbard, 50, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born on December 31, 1963 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of Harry P. and Loretta (Abner) Gabbard.  Marvin graduated from Bellarmine University in 1986 with a B.A. Degree in Accounting and Business Administration.  He was an employee of U.S. Department of Labor  for 27 years and a member of the National Rifle Association.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Gabbard.  Survivors include his parents, Harry P.  and Loretta Gabbard of Austin, Indiana;  Fiancée, Linda S. Fox of Austin, Indiana; two daughters, Rebekah Paige and Emily Rachel Gabbard both of Austin, Indiana;  two brothers, Kevin Gabbard (Kristi) of Austin, Indiana and Wendell Gabbard (Annette) of Olathe, Kansas; father-in-law, Wallace D.
