Hey papaw. It’s Tisha. I just want to mention two things that I adored as a young girl. I remember every time I had come to stay, you’d give me one of your shirts to sleep in and they were always so cozy and I’d kick you out of your room just so I could sleep in your water bed. I miss you with all of my heart and I truly wish I could have had more time with you. The memories that I have, I will cherish always and forever. You were the greatest man I have ever known and I will never forget you. I love you, papaw.

It was a privilege to care for Mike each time he came to Hampton Oaks.We had fun talking about the old days at Deputy and talking about shared relatives. I will miss him.

My heart was broken when I just heard of Mike’s passing. He was my swim partner and dance partner in school when no one would be. I was shubby as a teenager so he was always so kind too me. We were always told we were third cousins but we weren’t sure if we were or not. Loved him so much! You will be missed..
