Mildred Frances “Millie” Hill, 94, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. She was born on August 25, 1920 in Johnson County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Dillard Woods and Hallie (Mitchell) Dunham. Millie was married to George Washington Hill, who preceded her in death on on May 28, 2007. She was a homemaker, a former employee of Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana and a member of the Scottsburg First Baptist Church. Millie graduated from Edinburgh High School and was a member of the Farm Bureau Co-op. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Morris; three stepchildren, Charlotte Crow, James Marvin Hill and Sharron Sue O’Neal; two grandsons, James Russell and Troy Wayne Hill and a brother, Clarence Woods. Survivors include a stepson, George E. Hill of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters-in-law, Mary Ann Hill of Scottsburg, Indiana and Peggy Morris of Jackson, Georgia, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
