Morgan Briann Coomer, 23, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018. She was born on December 17, 1994 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the daughter of Steven Russell Coomer and Robin R. (Smith) Coomer. Morgan was an animal lover and enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. She especially liked Janis Joplin and Bob Marley. Morgan was always willing to help and would do anything for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Edward Spicer; her grandmother, Ann Coomer and an aunt, Teresa Coomer. Survivors include her father, Steven R. Coomer of Scottsburg, Indiana; her mother, Robin R. Coomer of Austin, Indiana; a brother, Steven Tyler Coomer (Kelli Collins) of Scottsburg, Indiana; her grandparents, Willie Coomer of Scottsburg, Indiana and John and Carol Smith of Austin, Indiana; two nieces, Laney Coomer and Macey Spicer; a nephew, Trey Spicer; an aunt, numerous uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial Contributions to: To Morgan’s family to help with final expenses c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Robin, This has to be one of the worse things that anyone could go through. It's hard on friends that knows you like I did..... my thoughts and prayers are with you as you say goodbye to your precious Daughter... my prayer is that God will hold you up and not let go until you know you can make it on your own.... sorry I will not be able to be there but I will continue to keep you in my prayers and your family in our prayers....🙏🏽🙏🏽
