Morris A. Rose, 81, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. He was born on September 29, 1932 in Underwood, Indiana, he was the son of the late Glen and Gladys (Sherrard) Rose. Morris was a retired inspector for the old Dallas Mavis Transportation in Louisville, Kentucky, a member of the Vienna Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita F. (Donahue) Rose; a brother, Kenneth Lee Rose and a sister, Joan Diekhoff. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Rose and his wife Monique of Underwood, Indiana and Chuck Rose and his wife Connie of Scottsburg, Indiana; a daughter, Cindy Page and her husband Gary of Clarksville, Indiana; a sister, Bev Taflinger of Scottsburg, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Chris (Libby) and Katie Rose, Christa West (Evan), Laura Justice (Tristan), Georgia, Packy (Michele) and Garrett Page (Carrie) and fourteen great grandchildren, Madison, Evi, Sophie, Mileigh Cate, Caden and Juliette Rose, Allison, Emily and Caroline Justice, Mason and Max West, Kennedy, Keely and Jackson Page.
