Nathaniel A. Simpson, 31 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 28, 1984 in Junction City, Kansas. Nathaniel graduated from Scottsburg High School in 2003 and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a former employee of VA Regional Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Nathaniel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herman Hershell Simpson. Survivors include his mother, Carrie Simpson of Scottsburg, Indiana; his sister, Kiya Knight of Scottsburg, Indiana; grandmother, Ruth M. Simpson of Scottsburg, Indiana, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
