Nellie Oliver Helton, 98, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. She was born on November 1, 1915 in Perry County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John D. and Ida Lee (Whitaker) Oliver. Nellie was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Assembly Church in Clarksville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Helton; two sons, Raymond and Arthur Helton; two sisters, Mahala Couch and Muriel Johns and three brothers, Homer, George and Paul Oliver. Survivors include two sons, Ecil Helton of Scottsburg, Indiana and Frank Edward Helton (Jan) of Salem, Indiana; three daughters, Gladys Estes (George), Treva Woods (Mike) and Josephine Crawford all of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Robert Burns Oliver of Goshen, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.   Online condolences: www.collinsfuneralhome.net.
