Patricia A. “Pat” Sterrett, 86, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 9, 1933 in Edinburgh, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Josie (Gardner) Chrysty. Pat was a homemaker, a member of the United Brethren Church in Rugby, Indiana and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She was an avid dirt track racing fan and loved watching her children race. Pat was preceded in death by a son, Clarence P. Sterrett, II; two brothers, Ivan and Marvin Chrysty and three sisters, Thelma Chrysty, Viola Cox and an infant sister. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Clarence P. Sterrett, Sr.; a son, Bob Sterrett and his wife Venita of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters, Katherine Simpson and her husband Timothy of Scottsburg, Indiana and JoEllen Graves and her husband Jon of Lexington, Indiana; 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
