I began working with Paul when he was in the fifth grade at New Washington. I knew then he was going to be a very gifted basketball player, but soon found him to be a very special person. He is the best basketball player I ever coached. He was the toughest competitor I have ever seen. His jump shot was the most perfect ever photographed. He graduated from Southwestern in 1985, and from then until last week, we talked almost weekly. He was obsessed with never letting me down. He was a blessing to me. I will truly miss him. Rest in peace. Coach
