Peggy J. Bowling, 72, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Our Hospice Inpatient Unit in Columbus, Indiana. She was born on June 29, 1947 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Roy Reynolds and Josephine (Slater) Reynolds. Peggy was a former employee of the old Childcraft Company in Salem, Indiana, where she worked for over 25 years. She also had worked at Amazon and was a School Bus Driver for Scott County School District II for many years. Peggy was a member of the Zoah Christian Church, liked cooking for her family, going to yard sales and shopping on Fingerhut. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Bowling; a son, James Zollman and a brother, Bob Goens. Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Meeks of Scottsburg, Indiana and Barbara Howard of New Albany, Indiana; a son, John Walker of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Bonnie Fewell of Scottsburg, Indiana; one grandson, John Howard and three great grandchildren, Julian Howard, Brooke Garby and James Koontz.
