Phyllis Rae Smith, 75, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 23, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Curtis and Margaret (Westerfield) Sadler. Phyllis was a production worker at the old Holm Industries in Scottsburg, Indiana. She loved watching old movies, spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Alvis “Al” Smith; two sons, Tyson Powell and Arik Powell (Natalie) all of Jeffersonville, Indiana; a sister and brother, Wendy and Rodney both of Louisville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Brieahnah Powell and a great grandson.
