Raleigh Finley, 84, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. He was born on February 28, 1933 in Big Creek, Kentucky, the son of the late Floyd Finley and Frances (Arnett) Finley. Raleigh was a retired security guard for the Fountain Square Mall in Bloomington, Indiana, where he worked for 13 years and a former truck driver for Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana for 19 years. Raleigh had also worked at the old Richey and Stewart Trucking Company in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by a son, Tony Finley; four brothers, Sim, Arlie, Earl and Elbert Finley; five sisters, Mae Sizemore, Ethel Holland, Martha Napier, Mary Napier and Joyce Turner; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Young. Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Hathaway of Scottsburg, Indiana, Barbara Hangen and husband Todd of Greenville, Ohio, Geneva Pearson and husband Curt of Commiskey, Indiana and Tracy Stanton and husband Ron of Seymour, Indiana; four sons, Timothy Finley of Maine, Bobby Finley of Seymour, Indiana, Douglas Finley and wife Tammy of Piqua, Ohio and Marvin Finley; twenty grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
