Ralph A Rigg, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on October 23, 1925 in Albion, Illinois, the son of the late Arthur and Alice (Baskett) Rigg. Ralph grew up in Albion and graduated from Edwards County High School. He was a retired avionics employee for the U.S. Civil Service at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and a Methodist. Ralph was a U.S. Army Signal Corp veteran of WW II, completing his service in the Air Force Reserves as a Tech. Sergeant and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post # 590 in Albion, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Heartha R. (Childress) Rigg; a son-in-law, Lonnie Faris and a sister, Edith Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Donna Faris and Lonna Riggle (Al) all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Bonnie Roman (Chris) of Louisville, Kentucky; three grandsons, Adam Faris(Mandi), Brian Faris (Brittany) and Elliott Roman and four great grandchildren, Jacob, Connor, Nora and Leah.
